Stuff done:

1. Picked up the car, complete with shiny new battery and one contact cleaned of its minor corrosion. Yay!

2. Did two hours of paid internal company training for Not the IRS, which included enough interminable videos that I was able to hem one leg of a new pair of pants while listening to the presentations. (I hand-stitch my hems. It is incredibly tedious.)

3. Set aside a long and intricate prompt!fic response that I just do not have the spoons to deal with right now (though it has absolutely gone onto my "finish this someday; it will be so awesome" list) and wrote ~200 words of an alternate, simpler, and more lighthearted approach. Which is not a lot, but hey, something is better than nothing. *wry*

4. Chatted with Cat for about 90 minutes. It looks like, she, Susan, and I will all be in NJ for Thanksgiving, but we may not be able to all overlap. Susan and I have some time available Wednesday afternoon, but I may be leaving as early as 8 or 9am on Friday, and Cat doesn't arrive until Thursday, so. I guess I'll see if whoever takes me back to Ithaca is willing to crash on my air mattress for the night so we won't have to hit the road until 1 or 2pm, which would free up some time for a Friday breakfast/brunch.

5. Failed to talk to Vicky on Sunday night. Also failed to get a response from her today when I texted to ask how she was doing. :( I will try again tomorrow, and possibly email her as well.

6. Bought three items at my church's service auction Saturday night: A) a pair of tickets to a NYS Baroque concert on Saturday 12/2/17; B) a pair of tickets to a Cayuga Chamber Orchestra concert on Sunday 2/11/18 (this is my birthday outing; my parents will buy a third ticket themselves); and C) a seat at a fancy homemade waffle brunch on Sunday 4/15/18, because by April 15th I will need a waffle brunch!
